  Food Keeper

Use this app as a technological companion to our Smart Storage materials listed on our home page. This tool was developed by the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, with Cornell University and the Food Marketing Institute. They describe their app as helping people understanding storage.
It is available as a mobile application for Android and Apple devices and as a website.

Big Oven

350,000+ recipes at your fingertips! Just pop in a couple of ingredients that are lying around the house, and Big Oven will do the work for you of finding the perfect recipe. It’ll provide you with a grocery list that you can organize by recipe or by department. The grocery list can be shared within your household too!!
Big Oven can be used on Apple, Android and Windows operating systems.

OLIO

With over 400,000 users and nearly 630,000 portions of food shared, this app is doing some heavy lifting reducing wasted food. The concept is that you can share any unwanted food with your neighbors, and vice versa. Welcome to the sharing economy!
